Certevia currently offers payment processing through third-party payment providers including Authorize.Net and PayPal. When you choose a payment method, payment information needed to complete the transaction is processed through the applicable payment provider.
Certevia does not accept credit or debit card numbers by telephone. Payment processors maintain their own privacy and security practices and may collect information necessary to authorize, process, prevent fraud involving, and document your transaction.
Certevia and service providers we use may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies. Some of these technologies are necessary for our websites and learner systems to function, while others help us understand website use, measure advertising, provide support, or improve the user experience.

Certevia may use Contentsquare, Hotjar, or similar website-experience tools to understand how visitors interact with our websites. These tools are intended to help us understand website behavior and are not used by Certevia to sell student information.
Certevia uses Tawk.to to provide live-chat and customer-support functions. When you use chat, information you enter into the chat, along with technical information necessary to operate the service, may be processed through that service.
Please do not send payment card numbers or other unnecessary sensitive information through live chat.
Certevia uses email to provide transactional and course-related communications, such as registration confirmations, account information, course notices, certificates, payment information, password assistance, and responses to support requests.
Certevia does not use student enrollment information to operate a promotional marketing-email list. Some communications are necessary to provide the course or maintain your account and therefore are not promotional messages.
Certevia uses Google Workspace and related services for business email and communications.
Certevia uses third-party service providers to help operate our business and provide our services. Depending on the service involved, these providers may process information on our behalf or receive information necessary to perform their function.
Examples include payment processors, website and hosting services, learning-management and account systems, email providers, customer-support services, analytics providers, advertising measurement services, security and fraud-prevention services, and website-experience analytics providers.
We provide or permit access to information only as reasonably necessary for these services, our legitimate business operations, or other purposes described in this policy.

Certevia services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly offer accounts or courses directly to children or knowingly collect personal information from children through our enrollment systems.
Certevia websites may contain links to websites operated by courts, government agencies, colleges, universities, partners, payment providers, or other third parties. Certevia does not control the privacy practices of those independent websites. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own privacy policies and practices.
